Sifu is the Chinese term for "older uncle" or "teacher". I've been teaching Martial Arts in some capacity since 1990, and received my Black Belt in 1992...Thus SifuJJ was born...have had the same email address since 1997.

In the early 90's, as a member of Q-Link ("the original AOL for the Commodore-64" and thus Club Caribe) , I ran through a host of screennames. One of them was "OBabyOBaby," eventually shortened to "OBOB." A fitting word which begins with "Ob" is, well, "oblique." Among other definitions "In figurative use, oblique means indirect or purposely misleading." I can be very indirect in conversation at times. In the course of building the brand, I have dropped the "o."

I started out with a very boring name and a very boring avatar. I was playing around in DS one day while my boyfriend was watching. He was making fun of me since my avatar was nothing like me. We then had a little makeover. I became Slymenstra. She was an amazing "character" in a band in the 90's called GWAR. I saw them a billion times live and Slymenstra was always amazing. I eventually shortened it to Sly. The name has stuck since 1996!

Aint nuttin' boring about my friend Sly .. We may be lucky at being unlucky, but I cant think of someone I'd rather share that with LOL Hugs and TY for sharing

Well my Original name was Dream, then I became staff acolyte, onto Oracle. I was also a Golden Knight. And then one day I was bitten by a Vampire! Elaan was her name and at that time were the Magnolytes. So I couldn't be a vampire staff member. So I had to come up with a different name and Chime was born, soon after the Ðarksiders arrived and I became Ðsrksider Chime. My real name is Michele , in rw my cousin calls me Miche, Chime is just that switched around. Thats how Chime was born!
