Emm is hosting Oktoberfest 2024 September 28-29, 2024.

Oktoberfest Shop and Game Room is one locale left of nH Entrance.

Join us for a fun-filled Oktoberfest celebration on September 28th and 29th! Over these two days, we’ll be hosting a variety of exciting games and activities that capture the spirit of Bavaria.

Oktoberfest is held in September because the weather is warmer and the days are longer, allowing visitors to enjoy the festivities more comfortably.

Oktoberfest has a rich history dating back to 1810, when it was first held to celebrate the marriage of Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) to Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. The citizens of Munich were invited to join the festivities, which included horse races and a grand celebration on the fields that were later named Theresienwiese, or “Theresa’s Meadow”. Over the years, the event has grown into the world’s largest Volksfest, attracting millions of visitors from around the globe.

Enjoy traditional Bavarian music, delicious food, and, of course, a wide selection of German beers.Don your lederhosen or dirndl and get ready for an unforgettable Oktoberfest experience! Prost!
