The issue has been resolved.
The network provider that hosts the login server had an outage which started at 7:30 PM WA. The same provider hosts the fail over service for the login server which was setup last month and sadly all 3 networks from this company were down. We will make changes to our network setup so we have fail over on the fail over service for the login server service.
Anyone who was already logged in didn't have any problem as they were already logged in and passed the network which had the problem so thankfully it only caused a short problem for a very small number of members.
