The Annual Celebration of Fern Day, marking the Opening of the world, will be held at the Main Temple Doors.  There will be the Traditional Fern Day Blessing, Story and Parade.  Marianne G will be hosting.

 

As for a Fuller Explanation:

 

Since the First Fern day was August 1st, 1995 when the world, then Worlds Away, opened to Beta Testers, this will be the 27th Fern Day in the city of Kymer.  The world had many changes since then, becoming VZones, Metro, back to VZones, but the holiday marking the Opening of the world to Beta Testing remains.  The Story Telling has always been done by Marianne G, but in the earlier days, it was the Mom Muse who would bestow the Blessing.  It was either then Oracle Serena, Marianne G or the newest Acolytes who would lead the Parade.  The Parade has four stops around the fountain, honoring The Islands Past, Our Future, Avatars who we have lost or who have gone, and Finally Our Present.
