This Thursday, we will be conducting a disaster recovery test to evaluate the stability of our backup servers. While this system has already undergone extensive testing with simulated user activity, this will be the first full live test involving real user operations.
The test will run from Thursday morning through Friday morning. You should not notice any difference in system performance; however, as a precaution, we recommend avoiding major turf cleaning or building activities during this window in case a warp (up to 4 hours) is required. In the event you actually want to do major turf cleaning you can ESP Twizzler who is now offering her skilled turf cleaning services.
We will be performing this process on three servers over the next four weeks, one per week. This work is critical to ensure minimal downtime in the event of a primary server hardware failure that cannot be quickly resolved.

choke, gasp ,freek out! You used the forbidden WARP word. The word that instills fear. YOU forgot to tell them NOT TO PAY RENTS!!!! I lost some my turfs in Worlds because I didnt know i was paying during a time Warp. I didnt even know there was such a thing. May I suggest that the person that puts up announcements does them frequently if we go into a time warp. Maybe on the hour and a message in Facebook.

Due to technical issues this morning, I’ve had to reschedule this to Friday. Please proceed as usual on Thursday.

We successfully completed a server rollover from one data centre to another and conducted a 20-hour stability test yesterday. Today, operations are running normally, and you can continue as usual.
Early next week, I’ll schedule stability testing for the next backup server, which will run for 24 hours.
