It’s not possible to get back to promenade once you’ve left and entered the main world. If you need a new head or body you can get this from the NuYu building.
If you need to change your name this can be done inside the temple.

Although one can’t go back to the promenade; it would be useful if an avatar to go back a screen – if they accidently left before finishing. I accidently left the head screen before finishing (and didn’t get to choose one) and was stuck in the rename screen with no way way. Total sad face.
Other than that – I understand why (once being finished in the Promenade) you must move on.
