June turf building competition – Atlantis radio show

We are launching the monthly Turf Building Competition for June 2026.

This month’s theme is an Atlantis themed radio show locale that will be used at the next Atlantis event. Unlike a standard build, this project is intended to function as a live event location and should be designed with both visual appeal and practical event use in mind.

Builders are challenged to create an immersive underwater Atlantis environment that serves as the home of a radio broadcast. The design should capture the atmosphere of the legendary lost city while providing suitable spaces for presenters, guests, and audience interaction. Creativity, originality, and attention to detail will be key.

For June, this will be a single area design.

To take part, please reply to this thread and then contact a staff member in-world to gain access to your creator turf.

Building will begin on June 1st and winners will be selected on June 30th.

Creators are encouraged to share progress updates throughout the month using this thread, the news feed, and social media.

no same price BUT if you looking for something certain and its pricey ask, i may have one or 5…. i also know a few shops that are resonable 😉

Hi everyone! My turf is basically done. Aside from a few touch-ups I will do tonight. It looks a little unconventional, so I feel a need to explain.

For this turf I challenged myself to arrange the seating so that none of the avis,are blocked by other avis. All Avis are equally visible. and all faces are visible and not blocked by heads. The only thing is that they are closer together. And to do this I had to use all ball seats.

It seats 33 avis and two DJs.

Unfortunately, I will be unable to complete my turf. I would like the opportunity to pack – up the turf and try again next month. Just in case you’re curious…..

Its all good Berks!! My first granddaughter was born Friday evening and my family is my top priority! Plus, I got a bit of a late start getting a turf. So, if next months theme speaks to me, I will def start asap!

This month’s challenge was to design an underwater radio show party area for Atlantis. Congratulations to Berkley and Harmony, who both impressed the judges with outstanding entries and shared Joint 1st Place.
