May turf building competition – garden behind the magic shop

We are launching the monthly Turf Building Competition for May 2026.

This month’s theme is a garden space located behind the Magic Shop building. The design should take into account the style of the Magic Shop and the surrounding SK area, keeping everything visually consistent and in theme.

The goal is to create a calm, relaxing outdoor environment with a magical feel. The space should include seating and feel like a natural extension of the existing area, with attention to atmosphere, layout, and detail.

For May, this will be a single area design.

To take part, please reply to this thread and then contact a staff member in-world to gain access to your creator turf.

Building will begin on May 1st and winners will be selected on May 31st.

Creators are encouraged to share progress updates throughout the month using this thread, the news feed, and social media.

It can be anything we want it to be. It does look like Andy might consider using the winner’s turf behind the magic shop, but I don’t think anything particular is especially needed.

Hmm… well…. I checked but it said I owed 5k, which seemed a bit excessive for a one room turf, but I paid it so I could get started since it’s halfway thru the month already.

And… I’d like to change the name of the turf, but even being the only owner, I don’t get the option to do so. I’m guessing I need Andy, Polly or Heidia to do so.
