I don’t know if you were here last year, but I organized Fern Day Event (actually four days) and had Marianne do her normal parade and Fern Day History story.

i was in hospital that week. Skye gave me some prizes when i got out.

@Tabitha TY… I meant it lasted four days, not that it was organized in four days. It took several weeks to organize and I had been talking with Marianne G beforehand. Maybe Andy and staff or whoever is on his “team” plan on doing something. I haven’t been asked about helping with anything.

Polly might know, so I sent her a message asking if anything is planned for Fern Day. I’ll let you know what she says.

Hugggs ya’ll, I can provide vendos for Fern Day. Has anyone spoken to Marianne G to see if she is up for leading the ceremony this year? Maybe she can share her ceremony and someone else can lead it this year if she is not feeling well enough. We can get it on the schedule either way.

TY @Heidia-Dia Dia!! I have esp mailed to marianne G asking her if she wanted to do the Fern Day history story and lead the parade. I hope to hear back from her soon.

@Heidia-Dia Marianne is in a group of us on FB so I left her a message there. I can work on main prizes and doorprizes if you like. Last year we also had costume contest and hand outs as well… I’ll send you espmail iw.

@CosmicAndy @Heidia-Dia @Pyewacket Since I’ve done events, and almost do them in my sleep now, I made up some prizes and will be sending the list and pictures to the vzones event email.

Mind you, I am NOT telling anyone that they have to do anything………… just offering my time and energy IF y’all want to accept it.

FYI, I got a response from Marianne G and she said she was planning on doing her History and Parade as usual with assistance from Forest Fern Pan…. just needed to figure out a time. I suggested she get in touch with one of you in order to get it on the schedule and to let you know her plans.

@Heidia-Dia I heard from Marianne this evening… Friday, August 1st at 8pm vzt she will start at the middle temple doors. I put it on the schedule temporarily so that the time slot didn’t get filled with anything.

We cna do this Friday, Sat, Sunday. I will reply to all posts and sort prizes on Monday.

@XieToo will try and catch you IW today/tomorrow. I’ve sent an ESP today.

@CosmicAndy Ok, Andy, with a little help from Heidia the prize box is complete and there is a box with the hunt handouts complete. So…………… everything is ready for you to wave the magic wand and make duplicates! The little Fernies are ready to run around too! I will come up with a host gift soon also. @CosmicAndy @Heidia-Dia Just two questions…. 1. Will it be possible to broadcast an announcement to join Marianne G for the “History of Fern Day” at Middle Temple Door on Temple Street at 8pm VZT? Parade to follow and then Fernie Hunt.

And, 2. am I allowed to give each of the Fernies one of the host ty gifts <birdbath>?
