Hi Everyone,
We are implementing automated prize delivery for hosted games to streamline our processes and enhance the player experience. Here’s what you need to know:
Game Scheduling & Management
All games must be managed via the https://www.vzones.com/games/community/list, which you can also access through the Game Schedule link in the main menu.Key Points:
Recurring Games:
– Each recurring game must have both a start date and an end date (3 or 6 months in advance).Skipping a Game Date:
– If a game won’t be hosted on a specific day, click Edit next to the game on the https://www.vzones.com/games/community/list and select Add Exclusion.
– This will remove the game from the schedule for that date only.Voucher Distribution (Starting April):
– Vouchers will be awarded for the previous month’s hosted games, based on the number of games successfully held.
– If you notice any discrepancies due to the transition, please post in the group, and I will assist ASAP.Duplicate Slot Hosting:
– Allowed: Hosting multiple games in different slots.
– Not Allowed: Hosting multiple games in the same location at the same time. Please check before scheduling recurring games.Taking an Empty Slot:
– If you are scheduling a game in an empty slot, set it up as a single game with the start and end date covering just that slot.Why Are We Making These Changes?
– To reduce manual work for staff and improve efficiency.
– To provide players with a clear game schedule for better participation.

Just to clarify “event games” you mean games being hosted during an event that are not on the schedule but on the blog/event page?
Subbed game can be a no show or a very last minute notification they can’t make it?

correct on event games, atm a seperate schedule is created for the event games, and the regular calendar is void during an event. Pye can brief you.
Impromptu prolly is no issue when added to the calendar.
Subbed game is as now, Gia got sick, and i am hosting her game last minute, where it is still listed on schedule as her game.

Event games would be listed on https://www.vzones.com/games/ and anyone not hosting in the event area during the event would need to add an exclusion during the event.
Subbed games the only solution I have right now would be for the new host to place a single hosted in game in the same spot and in the same location. The original host would need to come back and exclude the passed game (winners would not be posted so prizes would not be issued to the host) this feature wont be released at the end of the month but in the pipeline.

I had two games that I could not host. Zophia hosted one and I gave her prizes. Emm hosted the other I gave him prizes. I esped them and they agreed. What’s the change?
So if a host doesn’t show, no one can host instead?

This is all fine as you had time to plan it and arrange other hosts. So you can either do it that way or a little easier is to edit the game on the day it’s not going to be hosted and add the exclusion. This would remove it from the schedule, Emm or someone would see the free slot and take it and vouchers would be given to them without you needing to arrange and hand over.

My schedule has been totally messed up all on its own. The schedule showed suddenly missing or suddenly doubled in the hour. I have been tearing my hair out . This might be the cause for why I am sitting here wondering why I only got 35 game boxes for the month when i am scheduled for 49. I have 10 voucher boxes. I see now that a game i hosted a couple of days ago is missing again.
This new and improved way might be my swan song.

It sounds like you need to edit the game via https://www.vzones.com/games/community/list and check the start/end date and recurring days/time are setup correctly. Let me know if you get stuck with this.
If you put one of each voucher down on the floor in a turf and send me the name. I will fly in and dupe them for you.

I dont like the idea of someone being able to take my time slots if I have something else going on in life and have to put a game on LOA or exclusion (which I tried and it didnt work )

If you put an exclusion on it will only remove you from the day of the exclusion. Recurring games in that slot will still show on the schedule.
If someone was to create a recurring game in that slot and in the same location it would conflict. If that happens you can post it on this board and we will resolve it with the other host.
To note…..
Multiple games in an hour slot are allowed in different locations.
The first person to take the location with recurring has first come first serve basis to keeping that recurring slot/location.

ok this is bonkers. Nothing is working as it should I go to see my listed scheduled games and there are NO games to list. what the hell .??

In the event that you don’t know how many boxes to give me for April this is my order.
48 boxes including 11 for double vouchers.
You have removed the page that i used to link to my name as the host. I counted the games manually using the calendar. I did not include the for some unreasonable reason the double games in a time slot. last week they were completely gone. now they are double. so I give up on fixing that. just give me 48 boxes and i will take care of being at my games. I have a pen and paper. I know how to use them. I keep a game list on my computer too. I will continue to use the forum and post my details for each game. If I need a sub I will give box to sub. They can post game details in games forum.
I appreciate that you are trying to make things easier.
DOnt forget that when you make one box of prizes, you can duplicate it with all its contents in it. not duplicate individual vouchers or prizes. It’s in your power.

Editing a listing ?
Exclude a listing?A sub game wouldn’t work because you wouldn’t have the vouchers to give to someone. That’s why we need to get it working for you.
