The call came in the dead of night urgent, the kind that told me my ranger skills were needed now, not later. I pushed aside the cabin curtain and stared out toward the shadowed mountains of Kymer. Nothing moved. Nothing breathed. The world was wrapped in a heavy blanket of white, snow drifting silently across the slopes like ghostly smoke.

No time to coax another log onto the fire. The embers would have to fend for themselves.

I pulled on my snow stiff boots, slung my pack over my shoulder, and stepped out into the frozen dark. The wind bit at my face immediately, sharp as a warning.

If the paths stay open, I should reach the outpost before 12 VZT. With any luck, I will save you all.

Hurry! The Paint Shop Bot, Samatha says she is not dressed for the snow….if she catches a cold, we will endure the holidays with mismatched skins!

Once we have that support, we can safely clear the snow and make our way back to town. Every pile of snow collected earns point value redeemable for rewards at the end of the month.
