A piece of carbide and some water are put in a milk can.
Then the opening of tjhe milk can gets stuffed with a soccerball.

The carbide in the water releases a gas named acetylene gas (C₂H₂) gets released, this is highly flammable.
a lil spark from a hole in the side of the can does the rest.
