This is not a new issue and not related to teams. It’s just a time zone issue and trying to find balance to try and make everyone happy.

Yep, Slingo and Blitz in that order. I am working on Slingo now and it should be a few days.

If you run 4 hours of Bump every morning, Slingo players in early time zones will feel pushed out due to the lack of morning Slingo games. It also creates an imbalance, giving US players a clear advantage with greater access to Slingo.

The goal shouldn’t be to favour one region over another or one game, but to strike a fair balance that works across all time zones.

If you want to host bump you can choose to submit scores or not.

If you want to join the competition as a player you just play bump as normal.

Thanks for the feedback. I have had a lot of messages wanting it to be 20 rounds so yet to confirm but 20 is probably a good number for team competitions.

You can’t change to a different game type. You’ll need to set the listing as ended by date / not recurring and then add a listing for slingo.

Not sure but the original host would have the ability to add if your score was missing. It needs to be managed by the host of the game.

Understood but as you’ve deleted the game you can’t add the results. Next time you host you can submit the results from each game as you go.

Consider not everyone can play 24/7 so the people replying on this now are all hosts and all play or host in the morning schedule. If this is discussed at Q&A meeting where it covers members from all time zones you will see many people with different views and people who can’t get in during the morning due to work, family etc.

It’s about balance for all members to get a good chance.

Thanks for the input. I’m not entirely sure whether you agree or disagree, but what we’re aiming for is balance. If all the bump activity happens in the morning, it can put players at a significant disadvantage on the Slingo leaderboard. That said, this may not be a concern if you’re playing a bump only.

Lot’s of complaints about consecutive hosting of the same game and always has been it’s not unique to bump or the team games but with so many bump games during AM it makes it very hard for PM players to catch up.

Consider also Blitz and Slingo will be team games soon.
